Want to generate very large print from my 4.1 MP digital images. The best way / economics?

Hello, I want a very large font to convert a digital photo I have a 4.1MP camera. Now I understand that it can not be extended beyond a point. As little more artistic effect (Photosop save to apply), I would like to share the image to 4 parts. Individually for each image, apply some kind of Photoshop artistic filters such as oil pastel or watercolor and order prints. Once the prints come, they combine into a big (to create something like 45 "x60") painting sorta thing to use as a wall hanging. Has anyone done such a thing. All information will be appreciated. Also, if you have a suggestion for a great inexpensive online printing service, I would appreciate it.

There would be no reason to break it into sections, then they will combine. If the box around, you'll probably find someone who can close Who an ink jet or "Giclee" print for you on a great printer, 40×60 cm paper, or do even more stops. That would be the way to go. With such a small file, you will have problems keeping resolution, but some would call that "art".
